Steve Staresina’s fresco works are painted with natural marble and limestone plaster imported from Cararra, Italy. These natural materials are blended into a new palette, invoking an expressionist, modernist edge, emotion and temperament.

The works range in size from 2ft. to 9 ft. The art portrays a range of emotion through expressionistic and spontaneous strokes of color. Other styles are geometric, or utilize line, space and color fields to form the composition, relying on a natural human desire for order. The artwork, often large in scale, commands participation, a presence in the scene, in the very world where the artist, art, and viewer all have the opportunity to visually interact.
